On 31 May 2012, RD, manager of the Diaspora Collective, communicated with SD regarding the details for the band's upcoming performance at Liverpool John Lennon Airport. While most of the information was provided on time, there was a delay in submitting the final inventory list for equipment the band would bring to the airport.
RD had originally informed the band about the deadline for submitting their equipment lists but faced delays in receiving the required information. As a result, RD communicated a provisional inventory to SD, mentioning that if any issues arose, they would notify them later. However, SD had already left for the airport by the time the final list was sent, leading to confusion and possible delays in security checks for the band’s equipment.
Additionally, a few discrepancies in the communication occurred when the band failed to meet the initial deadline, and the inventory submissions were not fully prepared by the time SD had already departed for the airport. This miscommunication and delay could have affected the smooth processing of the band's entry to the airport and their preparation for the gig.
