​Latin / salsa band DIÁSPORA is looking for a male vocalist for 2 upcoming dates and possible others:

27.04.13
London
10-piece band
Fee: £75 + expenses (transport from SW1A, subsistence)
Status: Confirmed, contracted

14.06.13
Manchester
07-piece band
Fee: £90 + expenses (transport from London, accommodation, subsistence)
Status: Confirmed, not yet contracted

Requirements:

• Must be available on both dates
• Ability to sing from memory in English, Spanish and Portuguese
• Genuine love of salsa, bossa nova and other styles of Latin American music
• Charismatic stage presence
• Confident at engaging with the audience, good chemistry with the band and with the microphone
• Can EITHER read notated music AND / OR learn from records
• Ability to improvise essential
• Latino / Romance roots or native Spanish / Portuguese speaker bonus, but not essential
